It has been brought to our attention by many of our loyal customers that some misleading tactics are being utilized by quite a few major insurance companies. These tactics include, but are not limited to, statements by claim handlers such as:

1. “That repair facility is not on our “list.””
2. “We cannot guarantee their work because they are not an “approved” shop.”
3. “Any costs over our appraisal may have to be paid by you.”
4. “We cannot appraise your car for a few weeks if you leave the vehicle at the shop.”

These tactics are used to intimidate you, the policy holder, into believing your only real option is to go where they direct you. These “approved” shops may or may not have your best interest in mind as they are actually working for your insurance company.

Please take note that different insurance companies have different “lists” or “approved” shops.
